1999 - Present: Executive director, Professional
Education Organization International, Conesville, NY
Created and organized non-profit distance education at www.peoi.org
to train aspiring business professionals with free and open university
education, serving students in 198 countries in eleven
languages (Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese, Deutsh, English, Farsi,
French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Vienamese). Now, overseeing web
site software for grade administration and development of professional
courses in 79 professional disciplines; and providing faculty
on-line supervision to students with numerous procedures for
consultation, learning and testing.
1997 - 1998: Executive Director, KIMEP, Almaty, Kazakhstan (see: http://www.kimep.kz): Chief executive officer, appointed by the European Commission, at KIMEP (Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research), the only Western style graduate business school in Central Asia, which offers Master's degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Economics and Public Administration, with 540 full-time and 2,000 part-time students. Also appointed Chairperson of Central Asia Management Development Association Accreditation Committee, and Member of Boloshak Scholarship Commission.
1995 - 1996: Chief of Party of IRIS at KIMEP - Professor of Banking and Finance, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Managing USAID project with American professors from IRIS (Institutional Reform and the Informal Sector at University of Maryland) in MA economics and evening program at KIMEP, with overall staff of 10 faculty and 30 assistants. Also Director of MA Economics and Chairperson of Library Committee.
1994 - 1995: Director of Bank Training, Fund for Democracy and Development, Moscow, Russia: Writing training programs, hiring faculty, recruiting participants with goal of bringing modern lending procedures to Russian banks helping small business and fostering growth of market economy in USAID funded project.
1993 - 1994: Associate Professor of Finance, Franklin College Switzerland, Lugano, Switzerland. Teaching courses in Financial Management, International Financial Management, Investment Analysis and International Business Appointed to Student-Faculty Committee.
