Collegial policy making

Recognition of PEOI as an institution of higher learning is predicated on the quality of the learning of its students, which in turn depends on the teaching of ALL its faculty. Thus the activity of all PEOI faculty and staff is continuously reviewed and subjected to verification that it complies with the mission of the institution as interpreted by its board of trustees and implemented in policies set by its senate. Policy making is based on all student, faculty, staff and trusties input by majority rule in accordance with PEOI articles of incorporation and bylaws.

Participating in PEOI policy formulation is an integral part of faculty responsibility.
