D- Where to find sources of information
An excellent web site, finance.html, is devoted to all matters related to the field of finance. It is maintained by Ohio State University department of finance. The finance departments of many universities (e.g. NYU) also maintain useful web sites, but nothing compares to the one at Ohio State University. Its Financial Sites List at jofsites.htm is especially well done: not only one can find information sources for finance, but also links to finance course material on the internet and description of academic programs. Another useful web site for research in finance is the home of the Journal of Finance at http://www.afajof.org/, but to see articles one must subscribe which is not free.
