A- Personality accentuation

In practice a doctor may see different forms of normal personality types. Expressions of different persons in different situations are different. There cannot be a protocol, and thus cannot be considered as pathology.
Bright expression of personality-lines means accentuation . Personality accentuation is considered as variation of norm. Healthy person witnesses their clear ability to adaptation, professional career, and stable social position. It is the part of psychological defense mechanism. Altogether any of those traits may increase a risk to mental disorder (decompensation) if it becomes specific for the very character type. So, to understand a person, it is more important to study his individuality of personality accentuation. It can make a person successful in his life; on the other hand, it can also make a talented personís life a failure. Therefore accentuation is considered as the basic habitual of a personís talent.

There are 7 types of personality accentuation in psychiatric practice. Each category has its own stimuli system (1st or/and 2nd), which forms a personís ability and temperament; and characteristics. Each category also has its particular interest and demand. But we should consider that in practice mixed and borderline accentuation is often met. Type of personality defines the basic form of reaction to psycho traumatic situation and specific psychological defense mechanism. Below is the brief description of the personality accentuations in the table.

1. INTROVERT Predominance of 2nd stimuli system, calm, less active, is conflicting between hurt and indifferent ness.. Reserved, sunk in himself, ascetic, indifferent at others praise, independent. Doesnít like practical work, concentrate more on theories. Interested at intellectual work and spiritual perfection, like mathematics and philosophy. Good at research work when data are provided. They are good professors, writers, musicians, artists.
2. OBSCURED Stimuli system is balanced but intellect is dominant, they are strong, stubborn, persistent, straight, adverse-hypermenstic, susceptible, stencil minded. Egocentric, conforming, socially adroit, unreliable, hardworking, accurate, demanding. Always aim at career graph, materialistic, stable, and dominating.
